An Inspiration : Shahrukh Khan

Today I was watching the Anupam Kher’s show, whose name is also ‘The Anupam Kher Show…. Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai’. It’s a chat show. Well, there are lots of chat shows in this Bollywood industry. But I found it very special because it’s not a gossip show in which you try to reveal the current status or secrets of a star. It is one of its kind. It’s very gentle. In this show they try to understand what the actor have been throw this journey. And how he/she became what he/she is today. It is about the backdrops and uplifts they faced. And what motivated them to keep going.

Well, today Shahrukh Khan came on the show. Actually the show comes in two episodes, one, every Sunday. So today was the second Sunday and the final part came up. It was so inspirational to see Shahrukh speaking his heart out.

He tells about many of his life incidents and experiences. That how his father motivated him and how he and his wife Gouri met each other. He playfully said that, it’s obvious for every creative person to be up all night.  He also tells about his emotional side that, how sensitive he is. He explains that, he never knew, what he wants to become in life or probably wants to be a filmmaker but never thought about being an actor. And his father always says that “jo kuch nahi karte, wo kamal karte hain” which means ‘the people, who do nothing, do a miracle’.

So, finally they prove the fact that never underestimate yourself because ‘Life Main Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai’ which means ‘Anything Can Happen In Life’.

Social media that makes us unsocial

Back to blogging after a very long time. And I tell you what this feels amazing. A place where you can share your thoughts, write about your liking and disliking. I just love it.

For a last few weeks I was a little ill. Illness is such a mess. It feels so bad when you can’t go out, you can’t do whatever you like. It’s like the world is moving ahead and you are tucked in a place.

I always wanted to do something but can’t do because of illness and I get so much distracted because of this. Cause I never want to stop working. The small life we have, I want to make the most of it.

However..

Today I was watching a video that shows me the importance of being social in the real world. And also tells that how social media making us unsocial. I would like all of you to watch this video by Gary Turk.

India is a victim of backward mentality

I am shocked to read an article on the times of India that a woman was gang-raped in front of the entire village. I read that, just because she loved a man from a nearby village, the kangaroo court puts a fine of Rs.50, 000 on her family. And without giving them a night’s time to arrange money, the headsman ordered rape, like it was a free for all. And almost the entire village agrees with the decision.

It’s a shame for the entire country that even in this modern period there are still people in our country with such crap mentality, who can anytime cross all the limits of brutality for any idiotic cause. How will we get rid of this inferior mentality?

In the era when the Indian youth is increasing the level and value of the country by their hard work and advance thinking, there are people in the villages who are still prolonging their ancient norms. This is harm full for the country. Ill-mindedness is like a termite to the country, which is giving us huge harm.

Most of the cases of rapes and physical violence are the cause of ill mentality and creepy backward thinking. We have taken many steps to give protection to girls and to give more power to law and make it strong. But how shall we change the foolish thinking of the people. How will you make them accept the modern norms? Without making everyone aware of things we shall always be unable to demolish crime.

Strangers In The Night

It was 1:30 in the night. I was coming back from a friend’s party. My car was moving 80km/h on the deserted streets.

Just then someone called me ‘Excuse me!’

I stopped the car and looked behind. It was a girl running towards my car.  ‘Can you please drop me to Yamuna Nagar, it’s already late and there is no cab here.’ She explained.

I examined her, she looks innocent. I realized that Yamuna Nagar is in my way, so I nodded.

Now, after six months from that day, we are in a relationship. But during that drive, we were just strangers in the night.
